I don't waste time thinking about HEPA filters until it's time to change them. Although I like to use manufacturer filters, I may not have to pay the price difference to filters like VEVA. They seem to be doing their job. But how do I know if they filter differently than branded filters? They accumulate at least that thick layer of dust until the Honeywell HPA300 tells me it's time to switch. And the internal filters look clean. So I'm sticking with VEVA. By the way, when you order them, you get a very nice email from the small business's self-proclaimed "Filter Concierge" offering help and asking for your feedback on it - and a Revain rating. That's all.
