This device had excellent range for voice and sound recording. The battery life is excellent. The only thing I don't like is that it can't be rewound! When charging this device, it is important that you charge it from a wall outlet, not a wall outlet that has multiple outlets plugged into one wall outlet! Plugging into multiple outlets connected to the wall will turn off this device. It will not work after multiple charges from multiple outlets plugged into a wall outlet. I got it the hard way. Now if you can get this device to rewind and go forward, you have one of the best devices here! I love the size of this device and its magnetic part! If you're listening to a recorded meeting, you can't go back and see what you need here. You have to start over. It's frustrating!
