I wanted to install a ring camera in my yard and didn't want to drill holes in the side panel. So I got these. The metal side is really good and offers a lot more freedom than the OEM ring mount. I attached this to the siding, waited 24 hours and attached the camera ring. The next day I found the camera on deck, still attached to this bracket. The adhesive does not withstand direct sunlight. I still use this mount to this day and attach it to a clip that attaches to the underside of the vinyl siding and love the end result.
