Review on 🚚 Curt 13043 Class 3 Trailer Hitch: Perfect Fit for Select Lexus GX460 with 2-Inch Receiver by Dave Hock

I recently received 32" tires for my 2013 GX460 and my spare no longer fits in stock. I moved it to the trunk/storage area and started hating how much space it takes up. In the end I decided to pull the trigger on the Wilco Hitchgate swing hoop holder so I needed this Curt Hitch. I bought it and it was delivered quickly. Overall I was very happy with the hitch with no real complaints. Pros: Easy installation. Took me about 20 minutes with 4 bolts torqued to 86 ft/lbs for my application. With my bumper assembly I understand there are some issues with this too narrow for setups from 2014. Mine fits perfectly, with a small gap. Totally Class 3. Will tow 5000 lbs - I didn't need to match my car's 6500 lbs trailer rating as I'll really only be carrying a toggle hitch for tires and bikes. Cons: Like everyone else, I wish it was cheaper, but it really isn't. I wish it could handle 6500 pounds like a Lexus-branded hitch, but that's only a minor issue. I love this clutch and I really couldn't ask for more. If you are considering buying this for your GX460, especially 2010-2013, then this is the perfect option.
