DO NOT buy this product if you want your iPad to work for a long time. Aside from its aesthetics, there is absolutely no reason to buy it to protect your iPad mini. I bought this for my new mini iPad and within a week the glass broke because one of my kids dropped the iPad. You'll be a lot better off than me if you buy thicker foam and child protection. Terrible product. If you've never dropped your iPad, then by all means buy one. If yes, stay away.
