Lovely skirt, sizing chart not too accurate
My daughter wanted this skirt for her halloween costume (and wear normally afterwards). She loves it: It hangs nicely and worked well.According to the size chart, we should've bought a 2X (she is 5ft5", waist 35", and weights under 140lb). As there was none in stock, we took a chance and bought a size L. It turned out to be quite loose on the waist and had to use some safety pins (too late to stitch) to make fit. Of course , better bigger than smaller, but stiil disappointing having to guess a size.All in all, a good buy.
- The subtle pleating adds a feminine touch and adds dimension to the skirt
- The high waist may make the wearer appear boxy or shapeless.
