I bought this product with little hesitation. Some reviews stated that this product has faded or failed. However, I have bought LOTS of these in the past and this is the best so far. To say it's heavy or strong is an understatement. It's really hard. Heavy = great when it comes to citrus presses. That makes the job so easy. We've had it for a while and haven't noticed any tarnishing or discoloration of the metal. We love it for the juice from our lemons and limes!
