A lot of reviews are pretty vague about the sound profile of these guys. Most people just said they "sound good" but pretty much everything on Amazon "sounds good". In short, this is pretty decent build quality. They feel very comfortable, nothing fancy, just shiny plastic! They feel great in the ears and to be honest they are one of the most comfortable headphones I've ever owned. They don't fall out considering they fit in your ear pretty snugly and wrap around your ear too. Not to mention that they are stylish! The sound signature is, I would say, definitely V-shaped (high bass and good treble). You can feel the punch and boom of your songs, while the high-end doesn't lag too far behind. Sometimes the highs can be a bit shrill on some songs, but personally I like it. There's nothing special about the mids, if anything I'd say they're neutral, which isn't the worst thing, and as a bass lover, that really doesn't bother me. Overall they have great sound for those who love their highs and lows. If you're a fan of a more neutral sound I would recommend most Sony products as they are known for their balanced sound. They should have feature rich controls but for the life of me I couldn't figure them out! The only real downside to these things really. If they could have placed physical buttons to skip and return to a song, I would never have anything to complain about. Now that 2021 is the era of ANC and every company under the sun is trying their hand at it, I can say that with ANC they are better than most headphones in the $100 range. The way the earbuds fit in the ear provides an excellent seal, even with regular earbuds. I wear them every day on the train and listen to nothing but music. This is the advantage of IEM. In fact, they shocked me so much that I just use them as my regular everyday headphones! For those debating regular or wireless headphones, always remember that Bluetooth headphones will die for you, these will keep going until your phone can't anymore!
