My husband had a 2005 Ford Focus rear brake drum bearing that broke. He used this item as a replacement. He had to press this bearing into the drum after the defective one had been removed. After the brake drum was reinstalled, he tightened the spindle nut to 173 ft/lb to properly load the bearing. Undertightening will cause excessive play, overtightening will destroy the bearing, in either case the bearing will fail so you must refer to the manufacturer's specifications. Bottom line, this product was delivered quickly, worked well and fixed the problem.
