
I bought this to replace a fairly new Linksys E2500 which disappointed me with the wireless N performance. It gives me a much better signal around the house, higher wireless throughput and a wireless network with significantly lower latency (70-100 ms ping on linksys vs. 40 ms ping on tp-link). I updated the firmware before setting it up with my Comcast with no problems. The modem seems to work well (WAN syncs quickly with the modem, wireless/local connection works well and fast, upnp works great) The firmware seems feature rich and easy enough to use. Considering it's almost $25 less than the Linksys e2500 and performs significantly better (although it doesn't have dual band), I think it's an amazing value.
