Review on Small Animal Cage Accessory: Marshall Pirate Ship by Janet Nelson

Marshall's Pirate Ship (Home) Accessory is a great little sleeper ship for any pirate ferrets you might have. My boy, Captain Jack, was in dire need of a ship and it suited him perfectly. We have two hammocks for our two ferrets and sometimes both are in one and the other is empty but most of the time at least one is curled up on the ship napping. The construction is solid and although my boys like to chew on things (they're teething right now) the fabric doesn't seem to have any damage. There is a zipped compartment at the base of the ship where you can place a hard plastic base if you want a stronger base, but it's not necessary and my ferrets scratched it making a lot of noise so I pulled it out. The flag is simply slipped over a plastic pole that slides into a pocket at the front of the ship and the flag comes off fairly easily should your ferrets decide to take a closer look. The clips are made of durable plastic and are easy to attach and remove from the bars in the cage. The length of fabric between the ship and each clip is fully adjustable so you can hang it however you like. There are four holes in the base of the ship, two on each side, and there is a hole at the top for them to pierce through. My ferrets have been using it for a few weeks now and they love it, plus it gives their house a nice pirate look.
