I only received it today so this review might be updated in the future but for now I would like to point out 3 things. First, a 17-inch laptop definitely fits inside. And heavy too. I have an Alienware M17x 17 inch laptop and it fits just like my old cooler. There are very few coolers on the sides, but that's how most coolers fit my laptop, and it's so small on the sides that it's almost not worth mentioning. I only do this for those who expect an entire 17 inch laptop to fit snugly. The thing is, the fans will definitely keep your laptop cool by a small margin, too. Second, I game a lot (which is why I bought an overpriced gaming laptop) and always keep an eye on the temperature of the processor, graphics card, hard drive, etc. I know what temperatures I get when playing normal games, playing games with more intensive graphics and watching videos on the Internet. , write/read emails, argue with someone on a forum, whatever. I received the cooler, set it up straight away and started playing games, both graphically intensive and casual. I checked the temperature. Everything is very good. Then I decided to surf the internet for a while and check again. It's actually about 5 degrees colder than my old cooler. The old cooler had a fan whistling its last breath, so I bought a new cooler. Lasts for years! I really hope this article will be the same.) So yes, it cools your laptop. I wouldn't expect temperatures to be 15 degrees cooler, but even that 4 or 5 degree difference can help extend the life of your laptop. Thirdly, that's why I gave it 4 stars and I really hope that the manufacturer will take this into account in the future. : No recordings. You need pens for that. I don't put my laptop on my knees. Again, I have a heavy gaming laptop, and it's not really the sort of laptop you throw in your backpack like your phone, and since I use it a lot for gaming, it needs to be on a desk it sits on . I lowered the little feet to some height and to allow more airflow under the laptop like I did with the old cooler, I placed the laptop on top. Then I sat down and after a few minutes I noticed that my laptop was sliding down. It slid off the front of the radiator very slowly. So if I leave that on the cooler and go to bed my laptop will be on the floor when I wake up, which is the last place you want to see your laptop. My old cooler had 2 handles - 1 on the right and 1 on the left at the top. These grips prevented the laptop from slipping off the sloped cooling pad. I was able to remove the handles from my old cooler and put them on the left and right side of this cooler. It doesn't look good, it would be better if this cooler had its own grips that actually fit, but it's been several hours and the laptop hasn't slipped once. Please, Tecknet, put grips on your cooling pads. That's the only reason I'm giving it 4 stars now. Again, this is only the first day. Let's see how well this holds up over time.
