I am very thankful that it exists. I needed clips for a special project involving canned bulbs outside of a built-in can (low light). With the help of L-brackets and a plastic bracket, I was able to use the recessed brackets to attach the recessed light to a custom MDF light board for the bathroom vanity light box. The clips are a bit sloppy. The springs of the lanterns put a lot of strain on the clamp. Adding a plastic support helped. The clips are thin and need to be a few millimeters thicker to maintain the shape of the clip without deforming or potentially slipping off the lightweight spring clip. This would be true even inside the glass. I tested my existing glasses with clips and they are thicker than these clips.
