I needed something to wear under a deep V neck, oversized sweater and another sweater which both hit at the top of the waist. This was the exact shade of brown that is pictured. The quality is nice, but I'd say that it runs a little large. It's definitely long and it's also stretchy, so don't do what I did and think that it's better to size up. Don't get me wrong, I can make due with the larger size, but I easily could have sized down. Even two sizes down would have fit. Perhaps snugly, but it would have been wearable.
