Doesn't fit; I used it for cushions only instead

Having measured my couch I ordered the size couch cover that would fit my couch. It does not fit well.I kind of expected the material to come sewn with tucks and ridges in the rough shape of a couch so that it would go on easily, fit well, and be clear which parts go where. Instead I got a piece basically in the shape of a bottom sheet with the only vague guideline to have the tag go on the back of the couch. I did my best to pull it on and over, get it under the feet of the couch, and then tuck all the stretchy fabric (of which there was not enough) into the contours of my couch with the cheap, foam tubes it came with that are meant to help keep the couch cover tucked but did little to nothing in that regard. Overall, it just didn't fit well, didn't stay well, and with it constantly getting twisted and mussed and coming untucked, it didn't look good either.Instead of leaving it on the whole couch, I took it off and wrapped it over the couch cushions only, tied it up and pushed them in. That has worked. okay so far. It still gets skewed, but it generally looks better than it looks without it. The material also feels very nice. It's velvety soft. I like how comfortable it is to touch and to lay on.Overall, it's working at the moment for my cushions ONLY. I'm glad to have it, but I wouldn't recommend it.
