This is my second set of LEDs that I have bought for use in our dressing table. The lamps have been replaced with quartz iodine lamps and are original as the house was built in 2007. The first set of LEDs lasted about six months and failed one after another. The advantage of LEDs is that they burn cooler and save energy, but they are more expensive than traditional incandescent bulbs. Since my old lightbulbs lasted 14 years, where is the savings if the LEDs don't even last a year? I also have LEDs on my kitchen ceiling and six out of eight have failed in less than a year. The LEDs are great but I wish the quality and reliability could be improved.
