Review on 🔧 Mishimoto MMTC-F2D-03SL Transmission Cooler for Ford 6.0 Powerstroke 2003-2007 - Silver Finish by Scott Snyder

Installed on a 2000 f350, fits snug but needed trimming of the top brackets. Pretty simple build. UPDATE: 100% best update for 2000-2003 Ford. Tiny factory transmission cooler is too small. A documented difference when towing is a temperature drop of about 50 degrees. TFT monitoring from the ODB2 port showed over 200F after towing a 9000lb trailer on the freeway for an hour - this was with the stock cooler. With the cooler, Mishmoto regularly drove the 150F from Cincinnati to Louisville on the same trailer. Peak temperatures were observed when driving on steep hills in the 20-30 mph range (torque converter unlocked) and peaked at around 170°F.
