I use this to learn tools and interesting things for a hobby. For that it works fine. But I wouldn't want it for professional or serious use. He's too mushy and soggy. Parts are constantly being unscrewed or getting in the way. But the picture is good and it works for my needs, plus it's less than $100. I also doubt that this is a 1200x magnification.
