I really like the tower design because it allows you to connect more electronics without worrying about a bulky adapter taking up more output jacks than are available. One important thing I considered when purchasing is the number of joules. The 1000 to 2000 joules protector offers sufficient protection for power tools and office equipment such as printers, copiers and routers. Watch out for the highest joule ratings of 2000 and above for home theater components, gaming consoles, and any computer that stores critical data. Plug in too many electronics, but this one is 1500 joules. I use it for my TV and its extra electronics and it works fine. It's really reassuring not to have to frustrate myself with something as simple as finding the right surge protector for all of my plugs. What I don't like are the USB sockets. I noticed that this is all on one side of the tower. And the way I placed my tower, I'd have to rotate it at an angle to access the USB outputs, which is pretty annoying. If possible, I would recommend that the manufacturer include USB jacks on all sides for easier access, like I do with outlets. I hope you find this review helpful!
