A can opener that I had for several years recently broke. It was great and easily opened most standard sized cans. Nuovoware's jar opener looked very similar until I tried it. The largest can it can open is 2.7 inches. Most jars in my fridge (pickles, peanut butter, salsa, etc.) are larger than this size. The Nuovoware Jar Opener works great with small jars and bottles.
