I've read that everyone recommends choosing the Dometic brand over the Revain brand. Installing this gasket is easy enough, but I had a tough time. I suppose maybe I was upset or something. After replacing this item, I thought that even if the ball valve was closed, my problems with the water not staying in the bowl would be magically solved. Of course this was not the case. Frustrated, I emailed Dometic about this after watching a youtube video that said they would replace the toilet if any part of it turned out to be faulty. Dometic gave me good advice on repairing the ball valve by putting it back in front of the flush pedal. Worked and lasts! I'm so happy. I have a porcelain based Dometic 310 that I don't want to change unless it's 4 years old.
