Wow! When I read "60 watts" I was skeptical as I grew up with weak 60 watt incandescent bulbs. But the dainty fins were too fancy to pass up, so I hit the buy button. The bulbs came in such a compact package I thought I was being scammed. But I went ahead and replaced what I thought was a pretty decent lamp-shaped LED lightbulb with this fancy fan-shaped thing and flipped the garage light switch. Fool, I was just looking at the light as I did this to gauge the effectiveness of my new purchase. My retina CAN recover by the end of the week! I felt like a newly minted vampire who accidentally stepped out into the sunlight! If anything goes wrong with the bulbs I'll post an update, but in the meantime I'll be buying another pair to light up the boring corners of my basement.
