I need a hint to see if WiFi AD is suitable for fast wireless data. I have a 10GB home network with two 16 and 4 port Mikrotek switches and a Netgear R9000 tri-band router. I've tried and failed to use the Intel 18365 and 18360 tri-band WiFi cards with their WiFi antennas. Ever since Millitronic introduced the first such device, I've decided to take the plunge. When a device is connected, the device driver is available in its internal storage. After installing the driver and rebooting, the router and the computer were able to connect at a speed of 3.8 Mbit / s at a distance of 2 meters. Unfortunately, this is a theoretical speed. In practical data transfer, the speed is around 20MB per second, which is much lower than my Intel9260 card, and the Netgear A7000 reports a real speed of 60MB per second at 5GHz when transferring large files. Another disadvantage is the very short range of the location at 3 meters, which leads to an unstable connection with the Millitronic. Will update when I see better results. Tests run on another computer read from a 3 x 4 TB NAS RAID 0 partition to NVMe drives at 160MB per second, while vice versa it only takes 25MB per second.
