I read all the reviews before buying and I was glad to use it! Unfortunately, after about 10 uses (light use, less than 1 hour of intermittent use), the vacuum suddenly became less effective. Either he sucks forever and then gets tired of it and stops without sealing the bag. Or I can manually override this and press "seal" and there will still be air in the bag. negates the importance of vacuuming. I'm really disappointed and wish I hadn't spent so much money on it. Also, I ordered branded grocery bags as a backup, expecting I'd like it. more money ($40) out the window!
