My nails have always been brittle, soft and flaky. Working as a nurse makes my nails even less healthy with constant hand washing and using alcohol based hand sanitizers so I'm always interested in trying different products to lessen the damage. Nail polish and nourishing base coats help, but conventional nail polish removers ruin any progress. Majestic Pure Nail Polish Remover works great and even removes streaks from Color Street nails (yes, even the glitter nails). It actually dissolves the glue on Color Street Strips better than regular nail polish remover. This nail polish remover definitely takes longer to use and you have to rub pretty hard to remove the nail polish, but it's worth it as it doesn't wear my nails down. I also bought some clips to hold the cotton balls on my nails so they soak in and let the nail polish remover do its job. The aroma of tea tree oil is very mild. My nails are much healthier and stronger after using it. I also bought another mineral based nail polish remover which my Color Street consultant recommended when I bought this Majestic Pure nail polish remover and to be honest I prefer Majestic Pure nail polish removers. It made me a convert. You just have to be patient and give yourself time for it to move in and do its job.
