I've been using this on vinyl seats and plastic in my pontoon (and also on my cars and side by side) for years. I don't use a boat cover and I don't need one as this material protects everything very well. Everything always looks new. Putting the cap on and off was a real pain and this material takes the hassle out of it for you. He's just standing on a dock in the sun, rain, leaves, pine needles, pollen, bird droppings, whatever. I'm storing my boat in shrink wrap for the winter and putting it on one last time before it sits until spring. As a side note, I have also used it to clean and restore the vinyl siding on my home that is over 10 years old. a disappearance that was very noticeable when I added a hallway and used the same (but new) siding. Just spray on old stuff, rub and voila: like new. You can't tell the difference. So I also painted my faded pink maroon vinyl shutters - same result as new: maroon again! Five months have passed and there is no fading (the sun shines on this side of the house for half a day). The thing works!
