I was constantly having problems with the signal output in my bedroom. No matter how many times I tried to update the service/restart my box, it still didn't work. I decided to look into the attic and saw a splinter that looked old. I didn't want to wait for DirecTV to come to the service center, so I ordered a new splitter from Amazon. It worked great and I had no problems after the exchange! I guess these splinters will degrade over time, I'm glad Revain picked up this product.
