I bought this yarn for a christening blanket. The yarn in each skein varied VERY in size and softness. In some places on each skein, the yarn ranged in size from tip size to cord size, and the softness went from very soft to so smooth my fingers rubbed trying to crochet. So expensive and a total disaster. Very disappointed with the result of this blanket I am making for my first daughter's baby. I would advise you to look for other manufacturers
