I originally bought this computer to program on the go. Let's get rid of the bad first. This laptop is in no way intended or advertised for gaming. You can get away with some older games, but forget about decent performance at decent graphics levels for something more modern. We're talking about Spyro: Reignited Trilogy barely hitting 60 fps at 720p, the lowest graphics preset. But it's impressive considering it's not a gaming laptop. Just meet your expectations. Pros: This thing is lightning fast in almost every other way. This is where SSDs and CPUs really take center stage. Everything is incredibly responsive and installation is very painless. General use made me forget I was away from my desktop from time to time, which is why I give this laptop a solid 5 in that regard. Boot times are fairly instantaneous and reboots to complete app installations take less than 10 seconds. The battery life has yet to be tested very well, so I can't comment on that yet. I'll update as I use the battery more, but it seems pretty standard to begin with. The screen quality is again very standard. It doesn't win any beauty pageants compared to a decent ISP panel, but then again, it doesn't advertise itself as anything spectacular in that regard. You get what you pay for and with this laptop you are paying for absolutely incredible SSD/CPU performance. Style: I like the way this laptop looks. It's clean, elegant and professional. Nothing fancy but doesn't look or feel cheap. The build quality is very solid. Obviously it's not a MacBook in terms of build quality, but it's also half the price of a MacBook, so again, you get what you pay for. Notes: My first device had an odd manufacturing defect on the screen; A speck of white that was only visible under certain conditions, namely dirtier colors like fuzzy whites, navy blue, etc. This was incredibly annoying, but I contacted Revane who stayed on the line with me until we discussed possible solutions with ASUS and eventually Revain sent me a new device in less than two days. The new device has none of these issues and seems to be exactly what I was looking for. So good for both ASUS to build a decent laptop and Revain to share.
