We have been struggling with scanners in our factory for a long time. We "lose" them on the shelf and waste time looking for them, or we damage them by accidentally dropping them on the floor. We won't do that again! We bought one of the OPTECH straps to test and it works great. The scanner slides up and down the strap very well during use, but doesn't bother you when you're not using it. You attach another buckle to the belt that creates a holding point so you can decide how far back to slide the scanner. Cool feature! The strap can also be changed for right or left handed use by simply detaching it and switching sides. Super versatile! The chest strap easily snaps into place, increasing the comfort and stability of the harness. It locks it so you can move your arms freely, pick up boxes, etc. Safety buckles MUST be used at our facility. It's better to pay a little more for a webbing with a good security lock than pay for a big loss later. We will buy more of these!
