Review on 🔧 FEL-PRO VS 50458 R Valve Cover Gasket Set: Premium Quality and Performance by Albert Tucker

I may be exaggerating a bit in giving 3 stars for "Easy Installation" but I'll explain. Let's start by saying that the product is great. The box it came in had a 45 degree kink but luckily this didn't affect the performance of the seal and there have been no leaks to date. It comes in the same box as if you bought it from a parts store so the box is flimsy for rough transportation. In terms of installation, it would definitely be nice if the Fel-Pro included metal grommets that fit between the rubber grommets provided. Adds a little extra time to get the old ones out, but you can't install the valve cover without them. If your budget allows you to buy a new set of metal inserts I would go that route for a cleaner and easier install. It might be the gear head in me, but I love seeing that thick blue gasket between the valve cover and the head. UPDATE: 11/12/20 Almost a year later and still no leaks. 👍
