At about $25 bucks (with current sale) these are a great toddler shoe! My (large) 3 yr old is just learning how to put on his own shoes, and the design of these laces makes them super easy to adjust or just set them loose so these are slip ons. My husband thought they were Skechers when he first saw them, and I agree, the details make these look really nice.They seem to be comfortable and my kid doesn’t have issues falling down in these like he does with loose shoes like crocs. A breathable kid shoe with good toe guard and good grip on the bottom (they will track in some dirt but I’ve seen worse soles!). They are lightweight and very cushiony inside. The tongue has a large loop at the top, making it easy to grab and keep it from slipping in as you’re sliding the shoe on your kid’s foot. The inside liner is not glued in—I prefer this for the purposes of cleaning the shoes. I think you could machine wash these a few times, stuff with flour sack towels (or newspaper or paper towels) and stick out on the porch to dry and they’d hold their shape through a few washings. That’s good enough to get my kid to the next shoe size, so a good buy for us!
