The first one worked great for about 6 months until the connection broke. It's cheap enough so I replaced it, but this time my second one only lasted 2 months before the same problem. I understand that a jack will loosen over time and wear out under load, but that's just cheap quality. With my second cable, it worked fine one day and the next day it turned off. I didn't drop my phone or pull the cord in an inappropriate way, it just broke. And there is no visible wear or loose parts, as if the cable connection simply broke in a short time. I will look for a better quality cable from another brand. If you buy this one you might as well buy 2 as you will need a spare. I also recommend reinforcing the bushing with tape or shrink wrap as a precaution. That can help.
