As you can see in the photo, the inseam is almost the same as if you were measuring from the crotch to the waist. The reality is that the inseam is very short, like girls who run shorts, short. Luckily my son doesn't mind and wears them anyway. They also run small, at least one size larger. Overall they feel very soft and comfortable and I got two pairs for under $6 so that was a bonus.
