I like that it's easy to use, very lightweight (no dependencies) with great documentation! It has some things in common with JQuery but doesn't feel as heavy or bloated. The UI interactions are really nice too - you can do all sorts of cool stuff without writing any code at all. There aren't many features yet for this version so far but they're working hard on improving everything over time. Try out their demo page first before using your own data source if possible; we found issues where our API was returning JSON responses from PHP rather than HTML when used directly via AJAX requests which meant there wasn't much point us actually coding anything ourselves because nothing would be returned back by Ajax calls. Having said that though, once we were able to get past these initial hurdles, most of what we needed worked perfectly well. We've been building up our app functionality since.
