Review on CammPro I826 1296P HD Police Body Camera: Enhanced Law Enforcement Wearable with 64G Memory, Waterproof, Night Vision, and GPS Tracking by Keith Alvord

To be honest I shoot with a second camera. The first camera worked fine except it wouldn't connect to my PC at all. Since it wouldn't connect or turn on, I couldn't retrieve any files on it. I tried two USB cables and three different USB ports. The replacement camera arrived yesterday and the first thing I tried was plugging it into my computer. It worked! But there is something interesting to share: it DOES NOT plug into USB 3.0 ports! It never loads and the computer can't find it. So I plugged it into a USB 2.0 port and voila! It works. I don't know if others have this problem, but I have. When you receive this camera, don't assume it's set up exactly how you want it. Loop recording is disabled, as is GPS. The menu is extremely easy to activate, and maneuvering is fairly fluid and it's easy to change settings. This little camera has a lot of features, so make sure you go through all the settings before using it. No real complaints so far. USB 3.0 issue aside, but one thing that worries me is that it only includes one USB cable and you really need two. You need one for the charging adapter and the other for the connection to the PC. Don't worry if you don't mind unplugging and plugging in the included cable. However, it definitely wears out the cable and charging ports quickly. The USB cable connector is an elongated type so it fits snugly into the camera port. Most USB cables aren't like this, so don't try to plug any old cable into this camera port. I used another standard USB 2.0 charging cable and used the USB cable that came with the camera to connect to the PC. .After using this camera for several weeks I will come back and amend this review as needed. But for now, from what I can see on camera, I highly recommend it. Just make sure it's fully functional before the 30-day return window closes, and make sure you don't write anything on it you don't want others to see, as you won't be able to delete files if it doesn't connect to your PC.
