TLDR, not recommended for outdoor use in warmer climates. These glue sticks spread well and are very sticky when hot, but unfortunately once they cool down (after a few days) they harden into a hard, waxy solid and are too soft in my opinion. Something like black liquorice. On a mild summer day (80F) in the sunlight, the adhesive softens enough that it can be easily wiped clean (tested on a piece of cardboard). Being naturally black, it absorbs more heat in sunlight, but I still think it does. still unreasonably soft. Unfortunately I discovered this after ordering twice. I might protect my project with white cardstock or vinyl to reflect the sunlight/heat.
