We've got the blue, it matches the colour. It's soft but durable! Of course, it will wear well over time. I assume that if your kid messes with some parts it will break or tear fairly easily. But the rear stands for horizontal viewing are really strong. There were no air bubbles, although there was a patch of hair and lint caught between the screen and the protective film. But nothing big enough to disturb my son. Overall this is a great case, very functional and we've dropped the iPad 3 times already and the screen hasn't cracked or anything. With the way my son is using it I'm sure it will last us at least a year. And that's a fair price for something this protective. It was also very easy to assemble. My advice: start with the top two "hooks" and then the bottom corner hooks. Again, the soft piece is flexible, so just bend the corners a bit to fit the iPad into the foam piece. I would 100% recommend this case.
