I'll throw in my two cents worth regarding the sensations experienced following surgery. I will preface this by by that I do not frequently write reviews; however, given the circumstances surrounding this particular instance of the mouse, I had no other option. As a result, I put in a little over two months of use with the apparatus. During this time, the sensor was torn off of shooters a great number of times, practically on a daily basis. In this way, the older Pixart PMW3366 is far more dependable than its successor, despite its advanced age. The buttons on the G403 have the same tactile sensations as those on the G403, but the surface has been improved so that it is more pleasant and less likely to slip. To my extreme dismay, there are occasions when everything shakes and jangles just as loudly as it did on the prior edition. Writing about ergonomics is pointless because the device is so well designed; it fits well in the hand, the materials are nice to the touch, the weight is just right, and the assembly is dependable. Nevertheless, after using the mouse for about a month, the rubberized plastic on the mouse's side panels (left, on which the side buttons are located, and right, respectively) began to take on a distinct color as a result of the wear and tear caused by the mouse. At first, I didn't give it much thought because it doesn't interfere with the functionality and it doesn't seem very frightening. However, after some additional use, much to my dismay, I came to the realization that this rubberized surface simply begins to wear off at the points of contact with the fingers (the thumb and the little finger), much like an eraser, leaving ugly spots and an inappropriate appearance. This was the source of my deepest regret. The mouse had been purchased in another city, and returning it under warranty would take a respectable amount of time. Additionally, there is no replacement product of the same kind available. This led to an unending supply of disappointment. That could have been a batch that didn't turn out well, or maybe I just got a defective copy. I really have no idea. I won't cast aspersions, but based on my experience, it's safe to say that I won't be making a repeat purchase anytime soon. And taking into account the price of 5t R, I think it's best to stick with the older model of the G403 so as not to overpay for features of questionable value.
