I was a bit skeptical when I bought it because many reviews mentioned that the quality of the plastic is not durable. The stated age is 1-4 years. Which for us is very inaccurate. It gets wobbly when my 3 year old sits on it. The wheels begin to loosen at his speed. and the scooter can't keep up. Therefore we do not allow older children to use it. This was for a 20 month old baby who is a little wary of spirit. And that's just for him in terms of speed and quality. It doesn't happen too quickly and is easy to handle. But I think once he learns to ride a scooter he will need an upgrade to go faster. It literally glides over the parquet floor. We are waiting for better weather so we can try outside. The assembly was a bit fiddly and the screws have to be tightened from time to time.
