Great product. I have a Class C RV and being able to close the electrical compartment when connected to shore power is essential to protecting that compartment from living creatures. Ease of installation. The pins are color coded according to the wire color installed on each pin. The fit was a bit snug when the cord was pulled through the electrical cord port hole when connected to shore power, but it was much better than the replacement I had before that didn't fit through the porthole and I had to exit the electrical compartment . open when connected to shore power. I can now leave the power cord running when switching between shore power and generator power. The handle used to pull the cord out of the outlet can sometimes interfere with the cord. So, that's one thing to keep in mind. I wrapped black tape around the input end of the cable as well as the seam connecting the two halves to make it more waterproof. I could have used some sealant but I didn't. All in all I would buy more if needed.
