I bought this knife in April 2018 but haven't used it until yesterday. Bad move, should have tried and returned immediately. The handle is too small for my hand (and most men I think) in both diameter and length, making it difficult to get the necessary leverage. The crossguard or crossguard is also poorly designed in my opinion. Both sides are bent to the top. When I grip the handle with my thumb and forefinger pressed against the guard, the tip of the knife rests on the underside of my palm and the thumb/finger either pushes the handle deeper into my hand or slides off the guard. I found it easier to clean my oysters with a screwdriver.
