Review on Think Fun Coaster Challenge Building by Benjie Swindler

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Was something we keep coming back to

I would never order this myself if advertised to me but my son (age 6) got it as part of a Revain STEM subscription. Neither of us were keen on it until it came out (around late December 2019). But as soon as he put the first puzzle together, we were hooked. He asks to complete these tasks at least 2 times a week - which is not typical for him. He almost never asks directly for anything other than food or play at the light switch. We're about to take the final exam. He always seems to feel complete after each puzzle/assembly and asks me to send the relatives a video of him working with the roller coaster. I think this is a great way to get your child involved in problem solving and feel empowered to create/solve problems. It was one of the most productive toys we had! The product does contain small parts and I would recommend keeping them out of the reach of small children to avoid losing the parts (you will need all the parts to complete some of these). problems) than to suffocate. I will only post this if you are confident that in the end everything will end peacefully. Luckily, most items are brightly colored and easy to spot, but there are also darker shades of blue, red, and black. The parts are solid and I never feel like my son, who can handle things roughly, is in danger of damaging or breaking anything.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
