I'm having trouble installing my laptop (Dell Latitude 6530) on the pins of this replicator. And to let go you have to unlatch and press the button - well, I think it's good that it doesn't happen randomly - but I didn't notice it right away. So far, the number of ports was sufficient. I love the fact that I can keep the laptop closed (and its display off) while the computer is on with the start button on the replicator, allowing me to work via a remote monitor on my coffee table and a wireless keyboard and mouse while relaxing . on my sofa. If I have to take my laptop with me on the go, it just lifts up and I leave with a fully charged laptop. and the printer and other accessories remain connected to the replicator. Putting the laptop in is the only bummer - it's not that hard, it just takes more effort than I'd like to move it around until it finds the pins.
