Review on WXJ13 Replacement Instant Release Anti Block by Shannon Reynolds

You get enough parts for the price, but not enough quality.

You get enough parts for the price, but the quality leaves something to be desired. The lid's O-rings don't stand up to compression tests - the white stress streaks that appear when the material is compressed were quite significant - and I suspect they may have durability issues. The vapor release button seems to hold the o-rings on the shaft as tightly as the original part, but is a little lighter. I had to cut/peel off some residual silicone (from the manufacturing process) from the float valve gasket cover. However after that it seems to fit and hold the float valve in the cap. The lowest quality item in this set was the anti-skid shield. It was cheap (you can bend it with your fingers) poor quality thin metal. It also wasn't shaped like the original shield and didn't fit the battlements so snugly that I thought it would stay in place. I'll test all of these details in my next Instant Pot cooking session and update my review IF they don't work. I liked that this set has all the basic parts at a reasonable price and I feel like the parts can work in the short term. as a last resort, but I don't believe in longevity. You pay a little more but I've now bought other parts that don't make me doubt the quality (I received a kit consisting of a vapor release valve, a float valve and gaskets and an anti-lock shield from ULEE on Revain and a kit of 3 Silicone o-ring lids (passed the pinch test easily) from Two Day Direct at Revain and I am happy with these products.)

Pros

Cons
