I've always heard aluminum welding is difficult. I bought this product hoping I could avoid buying a machine because I'm a mobile mechanic. When I bought them just to have them working, a customer called me to fix a cracked air conditioning line. While using this product I thoroughly cleaned the cracked air conditioning line twice and when I welded the line it failed. I told my client that the third time is nice, if not I leave it to you free of charge to come visit and fix it. He responded great, try again and this time I cleaned again, boiled propane and waited at least 35 minutes to give it time to cool and harden. Refrigerant installed, 7 months there were no problems.
