Review on DuPont WFHD13001B Universal Filtration System: 💧 Advanced Water Filter for Cleaner and Safer Water by Jose Schweigert

I gave 4 stars because it has to come with a mount. I ordered a bracket and the bracket should come with screws. Installation was pretty easy depending on how handy you are. My pipes are copper so there was still some work to do. I wanted to add a bypass loop in case of failure and for easy filter replacement. The project took about 5 hours. I couldn't find a 1" compression adapter like the instructions said so I ended up using a 1" copper fitting. Some have mentioned that they had to use a lot of tape. how much is much Only 14 wraps worked for me the first time. We have our own fountain and this has almost eliminated the rotten egg smell from the hard water pipes (very subtle now, gotta try to smell it). The smell has completely disappeared from the soft water pipes. My next filter change will be with a two stage Dupont carbon filter to hopefully get rid of the smell completely. For me, this filter was worth the time and money to improve the quality of our water. I no longer worry about guests telling me my water stinks. Also, my equipment lasts longer.
