I have bought a few different brands of these lamps. However, they are easily my favorite! The lights have a total of 46 individual lights. However, you have options. If you don't need the amount of light that all 46 put out you can easily choose the 2 lower settings which will give you a longer time between charges. Charging, USB, no need to worry about buying batteries. They actually charge on the fly when they eventually fail. I put one in the trunk of my car. As they are magnetic there are several places in your trunk where you can attach the magnets. Or you can use a small piece of Velcro. I also have 2 stand up gun safes. I set them to motion detection and they work fine when the door is opened. They last a long time between charges. Aside from being very bright, what I like best is that the color temperature (Kelvin), which just describes the color of light, is around 5000 degrees Kelvin. Does that mean they get hot? No, 5000 Kelvin is a hue on a scale. The lower the temperature, the more orange/yellow the light becomes. Looking at the scale, 5000 degrees is about as white as you can get on the scale. That makes them nice and clean. Once you go past 5000 degrees to 6000-6500 degrees the white light actually takes on a bluish tint. You can't see it with the naked eye. It will look very white and beautiful until you put 5000 degrees next to it. Suddenly you will notice a slight bluish tint in this 6000-6500. 5000K stays pure white and pure no matter what other color you put against it. There is nothing more beautiful to the eye than bright white. You will also notice that the white paint on your walls suddenly turns very white. If you are installing a regular lightbulb in your fixture, compare the color of the wall with both lightbulbs shining on it separately. They bring out the true natural color of the objects they illuminate. Finally, note that they are attached with magnets. You can easily grab one, detach it from the magnets and carry it around like a flashlight when you need to go outside after dark. The versatility of these flashlights never ends. You will always find many uses. Under the hood of your car when you need to open it at night. The magnets will hold it when you place it on the underside of the hood so no one has to hold it. Keep one in your tool box or glove box.
