I like that they are actually louder than the Apple headphones. When exercising, I prefer the sounds to be loud enough to fully immerse me in the workout. I'm not a big fan of ear hooks as my ears usually hold headphones just fine (this is no exception) so I could definitely do without them. But my girlfriend has more problems with headphones that fit her ears properly, so the extra feature helps her. Has been running for over a month now with no problems. I haven't fully tested the battery life, but I haven't had a chance to worry about them not turning on. It comes with two other fork sizes. The ones already fitted fit my ear well. The case is actually quite stylish and light.
