Think a little to assemble it well but assembled it's a good piece of furniture for the price. Since it's made of coated chipboard, I didn't want something that just wouldn't fit in the litter box to end up in the wood and stink forever, so we put a super cheap rubber-backed litter box mat underneath. and it helps. Otherwise I like it very much! This is my second - for my adopted kittens. Visiting guests are surprised where all my trays are! And they're right in the room with them!
